Brian Koenig

Merchandise Manager

Brian Koenig brings his extensive industry knowledge and passion for the game to Chicago House AC as the Merchandise Manager.  In this role, Brian will develop and execute the Chicago House AC merchandise program. Sourcing products, vendors, managing relationships, ensuring the fan base is receiving the highest level of customer service, and training gameday staff are only a few of the roles Brian will be executing for the Club.

Prior to joining Chicago House AC, Brian performed a similar role with the Chicago Red Stars for the past seven years.  Sourcing merchandise, managing inventory levels, engaging fans for feedback, and planning gameday merchandise operations were all duties assigned in his previous role.  All of this lead to the #1 goal – ensuring the fan base receives the best possible experience when it comes to merchandise.

In addition to his role with the Chicago Red Stars, Brian is also a part owner of Soccer 2000 and All Star Spiritwear.  For the past 20 years, Brian has led the Team Department at Soccer 2000 with the same end goal in mind - creating the best experiences for clubs, high schools, and colleges who choose to use Soccer 2000 as their uniform supplier.

Brian resides in Geneva, IL with his wife, Karolyn along with his 3 kids (Carson, Bennett, and Anna).  When the time permits, Brian helps coach his two sons with their local soccer club and baseball club.  To stay active, Brian enjoys training for triathlons.  He has completed 2 half-ironman’s and multiple sprint triathlons.  One day he will cross the finish line after doing a full ironman to hear that iconic phrase.
