Director of Corporate Partnerships

Mauricio Gonzalez-Sfeir joins Chicago House AC as the Director of Corporate Partnerships.  His focus will be on driving the Club’s partnerships with corporations and organizations consistent with Chicago House AC’s brand identity and closeness with the Chicago communities.

He has been connected with Chicago, the State of Illinois, and soccer for most of his career.  He was raised in Champaign-Urbana and served as Associate Dean for Advancement and Special Advisor to the Dean at the University of Illinois Gies College of Business.  During his time there, one of his responsibilities was developing corporate partnerships for the Gies College of Business and strengthening ties with its alumni.  This resulted in the development and execution of transformative collaborations with companies, including in the insurance, data analytics, consumer products, and manufacturing sectors, and in record-setting philanthropy from alumni.  In soccer, he served as Vice President and Treasurer of the Bolivia Football Federation, and as President of two first-division clubs, The Strongest and La Paz FC.  He currently serves on the national board of the Association of Latino Professionals for America, the largest Latino professionals organization in the United States.

Gonzalez-Sfeir received his B.A. degree in economics from Yale University, attended Oxford University as a Marshall Scholar, and received his MBA degree from Harvard Business School.  He enjoys visiting Chicago’s many attractions, playing tennis, and spending time with his two children who live in Chicago.
