A Fun and Engaging Introduction to Soccer for Young Players
At Chicago House AC, we offer specialized soccer programs for children as young as 2, providing a structured and enjoyable environment where they can build confidence, develop fundamental skills, and foster a lifelong love for the game.
Our Developmental Program is designed to introduce young players to soccer through age-appropriate activities led by our professional coaching staff. Each session focuses on skill-building, teamwork, and having fun—ensuring that every child gains a strong foundation as they grow in the sport.
2-3 Years | Parent & Child Class
This class allows young children to take their first steps in soccer alongside a parent. Guided by our professional coaches, sessions feature fun and engaging activities that develop fundamental skills, such as dribbling, passing, and scoring, while building confidence and teamwork.

3-4 Years | Introduction to Team Play
This class engages players in small-group activities that emphasize cooperation and participation. Focus is on spontaneous experience and inclusionary small-sided games (1v1) and players to make decisions. Focus on maximal speed and simple tasks.

Introduction to attacking and defending principles

4-5 Years | Skill Development & Small-Sided Play
This class introduces real-game scenarios, helping players think and react on the field. The focus is on activities that challenge players’ movement, emphasizing power, speed, agility, and mobility.
Increased focus on ball control, movement, and decision-making
Introduction to "rondos" for passing accuracy and ball control
Small-sided games to encourage creativity and teamwork
Light conditioning to improve endurance and agility
6-7 Years | Building Strong Foundations
This class focuses on age-appropriate movement skills with the soccer ball, using both feet and utilizing small-sided games 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, and 3v2 to enhance awareness of the game. Players will have the opportunity to develop their coordination skills, spatial awareness, reaction time, and acceleration speed while also being introduced to team tactical principles.

Introduction to advanced drills and positional awareness
8-9 Years | Advanced Skill Development & Tactical Play
This class challenges players to refine their technical skills while deepening their tactical understanding. Training includes positional play, advanced decision-making, and competitive small-sided games to simulate real-game scenarios.
Intensive technical training: ball control, dribbling, passing, and shooting
Tactical exercises including "rondos", conditioning, and small-group play
